That old saying ‘practice makes perfect’ is never truer than where interviews are concerned. Yet many go for interview without having prepared properly and then feel let down when the feedback suggests a more suitable (prepared) candidate got the job.

Coaching for Interview has helped thousands of people secure jobs by helping them thoroughly prepare for interview. We focus on ensuring that you know and understand the selection process, how to interpret questions including competency-based questions, and have developed potential answer ensuring you are never rehearsed, stale or even monotonous.
How does it work?
- Most interviews now take place within an online setting which we simulate within our sessions. We therefore offer our session via MS Teams.
- Before our sessions we ask you to provide us with the job details to allow us to tailor our session specifically to your needs.
- After which, we will email you preparation materials to allow you to prepare fully for our session. This will include some knowledge-based information around different styles of questioning and some information on what is expected in your answers.
- When you are ready we will send you a bank of questions matched to your vacancy to think about before our session.
- During our session we will practice questions and answers using a mind-mapping technique which allows you to record and further develop your answers.
- We use a “stop/start/try again” approach to build on each answer, ensuring that you match the requirements of the job.
- We will explain properly how to use STARR and then help you master this technique.
- During the session you will receive ongoing feedback. You will leave feeling confidence and ready for your interview!
Prices
A 1.5 hour session is charged at £120 and a 2 hour session is charged at £150.
